Project costs can vary depending on a variety of factors: size of the project, location of the project, access to the project, timeframe of the project, scheduling of the project, prep work needed, working heights, product specifications, weather, and more. We have an estimator price your project based on your project size and specifications and our industry guidelines.
The time we need to complete a project can vary substantially depending on the factors listed above. We can generally provide a pretty good idea of how long it will take, although that can change slightly sometimes as we undergo the work. Sometimes we find things that we have to address that add a little time and sometimes it ends up going slightly faster than expected. We make it one of our top priorities to have your project completed by the time you indicate you want it done.
This can also vary depending on the project. If it is a new structure, we can generally bid those off of your architectural drawings. If you are making changes to an existing structure and have architectural drawings, we can bid off of them although we like to view the project as well. If you are making changes to an existing structure and don’t have architectural drawings, we definitely need to see the project to provide an accurate estimate. Once we have reviewed your project, we try to have an estimate back to you within 2-3 days.
We are able to provide a 5 year warranty on all work that we do on new surfaces. Most of the time we can also do so on refurbished surfaces. However, in cases where the existing surfaces are failing (rot, mold, wood failure, paint failure, etc.), we are unable to provide warranties. We will definitely point out to you those areas that need replacing and give you the opportunity to address it or direct us to address it. If the areas are sufficiently repaired so that they are structurally sound, we can then warranty our work.
We prefer that our customers move their household items, especially if they are delicate and/or breakable. We can move anything too heavy and/or bulky for you to move yourself. Other than that, you will need to be prepared to give up some of your space for the duration of the project so that we can complete our work in a timely, efficient, and thorough manner.
We generally require a 50% deposit upon beginning our work with the remainder due upon completion of the project. On larger projects, we can break that up a little more into “draws” if that makes it easier for your budgetary purposes.
