Well, tax day has come and gone, and hopefully you have all had a chance to file your returns! For those of you that are getting money back, we can recommend several ways to wisely spend that money. For one, we suggest helping to protect your investment in your home or building by refreshing the exterior paint. Also, we are approaching that time of the year when it is important to check if your decks need to be restained. How to know when it's time to restain your deckOne question that we often hear from clients is this: how can you determine when it is time to restain your wood deck? There are two basic solutions for figuring this out: you can either have us look at it or you can do a simple moisture test. To do this test, simply take a glass of water and pour it on to the wood of your deck. Does the deck absorb the water or does it repel it? If the deck absorbs the moisture, then it is definitely time to restain. Proper deck treatment is critical to longevity and durability of your deck. Professional care helps to protect it from cracking and the elements, primarily rain and sun. Exterior work is going fastWe have recently been working on some multifamily interior painting. That job is wrapping up. We have also recently completed painting on two commercial interiors that were tenant improvements. We are starting a residential drywall project and a commercial exterior painting project. We also have a multifamily exterior painting project, a residential exterior painting project, a multifamily exterior deck recoating project, and several other exterior projects lined up.
The exterior work is starting to back up, so we would recommend booking an appointment with us to take a look at your project soon! We are currently booking into June. |
