Hello Everyone, We hope it is going well for you! In celebration of President's day, we are guessing that some of you have decided to tackle some of those home projects that you have been putting off. If you are tackling an interior painting project the following information may help you out. We have been asked numerous times over the years, how do we prevent "flashing" or being able to see the exact path that our roller took up and down the wall (called a pass). Probably the biggest factor in preventing this, is to keep a "wet edge". What this means is that it is extremely important not to let one roller pass dry before you roll back into it on your next pass. If you can maintain that wet edge across the wall, you can likely prevent most cases of flashing.
We hope this helps you with your project! In any case, feel free to contact us with any drywall, painting, or wallcovering needs. Thanks for checking in! Ryan |
