The weather this month has been about as nice as it can possibly get! We hope that everyone is getting in some serious beach time and enjoying the sun!
This time of the year is always busy, and this year has not been any different. We have been working very hard to stay on top of our schedule. We have had a bunch of exterior residential painting projects, some commercial wallcovering, some residential drywall, some commercial drywall, and some residential interior painting.
It can be stressful for many people to try to set up a thing like a painting project and fit it around their schedule, which is why we have a basic, effective template and process- it keeps the collaboration with our customers easy, keeps our process efficient, and keeps the quality of our work our work consistently high.
The key to a successful exterior paint job lies in the proper prep work, conscientious application, and great paint. We believe good prep work starts with applying a cleaning solution as necessary and then pressure washing the exterior clean. We then scrape any loose paint, caulk all seams, around doors and windows, and other areas as necessary. This is followed up with priming any areas of raw wood or that might need it. These are typically the areas of prep that always need to be done but there may be others that are project specific.
