This week has been full of beautiful weather, and it looks like it will continue into the weekend. On top of the great weather, it’s Halloween this week! Do you have any fun Halloween plans? Are you hosting a party at your house? Or are you going to wait for trick-or-treaters to come knocking on your door? Either way, wouldn’t it be nice to have a ghost painted on your front door? And maybe a spider on your dining room wall?
Last week we were working on a multi-tenant drywall patching, texturing, and interior painting project in Marysville, a commercial steel stud framing and drywall project at a hospital in Monroe, a commercial door and trim installation and interior painting project in Burlington, and a residential exterior deck repainting project in Lake Forest Park. As we’re soon stepping into November, we will continue booking drywall and interior paint projects. If you would like the interior – of your house or commercial building – drywalled or repainted for the fall and winter months, let us know! We do have a few more openings, but these spots fill fast. Make sure to book your painting in time to get that spider on your wall for Halloween! Thanks for checking in, Ryan There are many options to consider when painting the interior of a room. What color would best suit the room? Should there be wallpaper? What about a pattern? What will make the room look its best? Something that a lot of people choose to do, is to add an accent wall. Instead of having all walls painted the same color, paint one of the walls a complementing color. This can help to add dimension to your room and also add some vibrant color to really make your room pop!
Last week we were working on a drywall hanging and taping commercial project in Burlington to a Level V finish (smooth wall), a multi-tenant drywall hanging, taping, and interior painting project in Queen Anne, and continued work on a commercial steel stud framing and drywall hanging project at a hospital in Monroe. We are currently booking drywall and interior painting projects. If you would like the interior – of your house or commercial building – drywalled or painted for the fall months, let us know! We still have many openings where we can schedule you in, but these spots fill fast. Hurry and give us a call so we can get that kitchen wall painted orange just in time for Halloween! Thanks for checking in, Ryan You may wonder if it’s possible to paint the exterior of a building when the temperature is so cold. Although the weather tends to make it much more difficult, it is still often possible to paint the exterior during the winter – as long as it’s not raining. In the past, it wasn’t possible to paint in cold weather. When using oil-based paints in the cold, the paint tends to crack and open up, allowing water to get into the siding and cause damage to it. With the advancement of technology, a new acrylic paint was created allowing use in temperatures as low as 35 degrees! Some precautionary steps need to be taken when applying this paint, although it allows for the possibility of painting exteriors during the winter.
Last week we were busy working on a residential cabinet repainting project in Lake Forest Park, a commercial framing and drywall project at a hospital in Monroe, a multi-tenant drywall patching, texturing, and painting project in Marysville, a commercial exterior repainting project at a mall in Lynnwood, and another commercial framing and drywall project in Burlington. We are currently booking mostly drywall interior painting projects. If you would like the interior – of your house or commercial building – repainted for the upcoming winter months, let us know. We do have several more openings where we can schedule you in. Make sure to book your painting before the holiday season becomes too hectic! Thanks for checking in, Ryan There are many different options to pick from when choosing colors for the interior of your building. How can you decide which color you would the to have for a while? A good way to figure this out is to look at trending colors. Of course, neutral colors will always look good, but sometimes it’s fun to have a pop of color! This fall and winter there are a few different colors trending. Peacock blue, purple, and a combination of blush and green are the top ones. While you were picturing those colors, were you envisioning the perfect room to place those colors?

Thanks for checking in, Ryan Whether you realize it or not, the color of your walls can greatly impact the mood of people in the room! If you’re wanting a relaxing room, blues and neutrals will do the trick. If you want a happy, energetic room, red, orange, and yellow will help you out. Purple is a great color for a kids’ room, as it sparks creativity. Be sure to choose your colors wisely when painting a new room!
